A review practice built beside the harbour, not inside a product company

Riverbank Fintech Review began when former bank examiners and fintech compliance leads wanted a quieter place to do thorough audits—without selling software, retainers for advice-on-tap, or “transformation” programmes.

Why we exist

Fintech teams in Taiwan often prepare for examinations with binders assembled the week before fieldwork. We formed Riverbank to give those teams an independent rehearsal—one that mirrors how supervisors and bank partners actually read evidence.

Our office address sits in 基隆縣, close enough to Taipei for day visits and far enough from the pitch-deck circuit to keep the work deliberate. Engagements are led by people who have sat on both sides of the table: drafting policies inside payment firms, and reading those same policies as reviewers.

How we work

We prefer small teams, named owners, and findings written in plain language. We refuse engagements where we cannot see enough of the operation to speak honestly. When a gap is material, we say so early—before the final brief—so you can decide whether to remediate or disclose.
