Diligence questions banks ask fintech partners in Taiwan
A field view of the partnership questions that recur when banks assess wallet, remittance, and lending counterparts.

Bank partnership teams rarely ask for a full licensing dossier on day one. They want to know how the fintech handles money movement, who owns residual risk, and whether past incidents were closed with durable fixes.
Expect questions about peak-day volumes, the oldest open high-severity incident, and how customer funds are segregated overnight. Lending partners hear more about underwriting overrides and collections escalation. Remittance partners hear about beneficiary verification and sanctions screening exceptions.
If you are the fintech preparing for these conversations, gather a short incident chronology and a current vendor map before the first diligence call. Riverbank’s partner diligence work often starts there: the story is easier to trust when the chronology and the policy dates align.
