Regulatory Readiness Audit

A structured examination of licensing readiness for payment, remittance, and lending teams before they face a formal supervisor review in Taiwan.

Desk with regulatory documents and reading glasses prepared for an audit session

Riverbank’s flagship engagement is a Regulatory Readiness Audit for fintech companies that need an independent view of whether their control environment, product disclosures, and operational evidence would withstand a licensing or supervisory conversation.

Who it is for

Payment institutions, remittance operators, consumer-lending platforms, and wealth-tech teams headquartered or expanding in Taiwan. The audit suits firms that already have a draft compliance manual and want a practiced reviewer to pressure-test gaps before a formal examination.

Result you receive

A written readiness brief, a prioritised findings register, and a closing walkthrough with your compliance lead. We map each material observation to the evidence we reviewed—policy excerpts, sample customer journeys, incident logs, and vendor oversight notes—so your team can act without guessing what we meant.

Scope included

  • Licensing narrative and product perimeter review
  • Customer onboarding and identity checks against stated procedures
  • Fund-safeguarding and reconciliation sample testing
  • Complaint handling and disclosure walkthroughs
  • Third-party and outsourcing oversight spot checks
  • Management interview notes and a board-ready summary

Scope excluded

We do not issue legal opinions, certify financial statements, or act as your designated compliance officer. Implementation of remediation remains with your team unless you commission a separate follow-up review.

Provider and process

Senior reviewers from Riverbank Fintech Review lead every engagement. Work typically unfolds in four stages: scoping call, document intake, on-site or remote fieldwork, and findings delivery. Most audits complete within four to seven weeks, depending on how quickly evidence arrives.

Location and preparation

Fieldwork can be held at your Taiwan office or conducted through secure document rooms with scheduled interviews. Before kickoff we send a short evidence checklist so binders and folders are ready on day one.

Pricing and next step

Fees start from NT$280,000 for a single-product entity. Multi-entity groups and complex lending books are quote-based. Request a review with your product type and target examination window, and we will reply within two business days.
